I'm so sorry to anybody who might have been wondering where I've been over the past few days. I've been exiled and bedridden since Friday morning with a rather nasty bout of flu. I've mostly been sleeping, which is why I haven't replied to anybody who might have been asking for me. Also, if anybody happens to have notes from Friday for Transfiguration, DADA, and Charms, I would be eternally grateful if I could perhaps borrow them at some time.
I think I'm on the mend now, although I do still feel extremely bunged up. The sickly whiteness to my skin does absolutely nothing for me and I'm willing my immune system to sort this problem out as soon as its able. Until then, I'd be thankful for news from the outside. What have I missed?

How dire have the halls been without me? All I can envision are groups of people wandering around in gaudy floral patterns whilst mixing and matching brown and blue shades. Please, for the sake of my sanity, tell me that Hogwarts hasn't completely gone to the dogs in my absence? |

All of this buzz about the ball is extremely exciting! It'll be a great opportunity for everybody to dress up and show the school what they're made of!
News from Milan and Paris say that neutral colours are in this winter season, so everyone should keep that in mind when choosing their dress robes. Boys, classic cuts are, as the name suggests, classic. That means it'll never go out of style, so if you don't want to invest in new robes next year, I suggest you go with this. Black also never goes out of fashion and tends to accompany most other colours well (save certain shades of brown or navy blue). Girls, although a neutral palate is in season, don't be afraid to make a statement with bold accessories or a splash of bright colour.
If anybody needs any help with their styling choices, you know where to find me. I'd be more than happy to offer my services.
